Smoking some magic

It has been a hectic week in the playful sense. I feel that I might not be able to play so much in a long while so I decided to blog the events down. Here goes.

Chamber Chalet this Wednesday was cool. I went only at night as I was trying to get some work done at home (and wow too). The chalet at changi aloha is a spacious place, the biggest one I have been to so far haha! It is a two storey bungalow-like chalet and has around 4 rooms on the second floor, which is wth. We played Indian Poker, werewolf and watched Borat, Johnny English, V for Vendetta throughout the night. Borat is extremely random and wth throughout haha. I went to sleep during Johnny English so I missed V for Vendetta (I got to go out the next day!); the others went to play bridge at the other room after watching the movies. Ahha there is also the power trip which freaked the girls out.

The next day was ISLE outing 3 wohoo! As usual, we spent hours waiting for everyone to turn up. I am used to it already lah haha, and I don't mind waiting since stoning has become my habit during the holidays. Well, it is relaxing sitting in Subway, chatting and showing a few card tricks hehe. Unfortunate things do happen. LC lost her phone in the toilet and we tried to help her as much as we can. Good that all is fine now =) I shall not comment much on that..

After lunch, we decided to cycle despite the hot sun, and it turned out that the sun was stunned by our presence and went into hiding after we rented the bikes. Haha not bad eh! The girls rented double bikes which are rather clumsy but interesting to ride haha. What the moon.

Ok the journey began then. We were cycling towards the oblivion when a little accident happened. So Viet and I cycled back to get some bandages; meanwhile fetching the guitar boi and gals who were on their way. It was what the moon again when we cycled back to see that they rented their bikes already haha, and we did not manage to get bandages so I got a slurpeeee instead at 7-11.

It was a wild goose chase. Viet and i chased and chased, called countless times and finally met up with the others somewhere over the rainbow. The gardeny place is an awesome place man. Somehow the camwhore spree was not on so we only took 1 photo there haha.

Afterwards more people joined us and we returned the bikes. Really appreciate you guys who turned up (although you can only come for 1-2 hours) to see your old friends! You people rock!

Coincidentally, I met Ben Wee who is competing in a OCBC bank bike race (something like that) in the coming month. Woa cool stuff haha I didn't know that you are a semi-pro cyclist for two years already man Bee Wee. See you in RJC soon haha.

Many people went home after that while 7 of us went to catch a movie at Tampiness Mall. We decided to watch Australia after much deliberation. Sorry for the inconvenience caused! Hungry people that we are, we da bao-ed foor from food court and Long Johns inside haha. Brilliant idea right! Anyway, Australiat is a one of a kind movie with different story archs one after another. The middle part is a little boring but the ending is nice. :) Somewhere over the rainbow ftw! On the way to the bus interchange, we saw this imba spray painter who paints so precisely and artistically that it woa-ed a whole crowd. It had been a fantastic day!

'Smoke some magic' this friday was pretty cool. It is street magic roving performance at Jurong Point where Jack, a magician, goes around showing magic with health messages weaved in; after which some people from an advertising agency and I gave out related booklets to the audiences and conducted short surveys related to performance review. Jurong Point is huge man, it has been ages since I last went to this place and the change was woa. Haha L2 is very posh-looking and confusing. I spent a hell lot of time trying to locate Macs which was our meeting place. =/ It felt a little weird at first as I was working with adults. Well, it got better after a while. The magic tricks were eye openers and I learnt some little tricks too. Not a bad night!

For befrienders dry run today, I was feeling too shagged to go. But nevertheless I still showed up at 10+, helped to put up banners and learnt the school tour routes. I had lunch at a thai restaraunt behind tat ann building with nat and zeming; the food is surprisingly affordable! I had a plate of beef hor fun while they ordered beef noodle and some chicken rice dish. After that is YO rehearsal which is quite enjoyable as verdi is a long-time-no-see challenge haha.

I missed stoning at home somehow. I went out almost everyday this week and guilt and is crawling up my spine. This is the A level year. It might be the last fun week after all.

By the way, what's with 'Flag raising 7.40 on 12th jan' message? It is everywhere! I don't think I have forgotten about school just yet. =P
