A song can make one's day. It's true.
In my case, it's Maroon Five's Pay Phone. Remember J1 class camp - when 'Won't Go Home Without You' was looped day and night? Good times don't just remain in the past.
Things have been slowly settling down. Now that my university choice is almost fixed, it is time to move on to other issues - visa, housing, fees, studies plan/goal, acclimatizing to (or preparation for) new environment, etc. Berkeley reception tomorrow, Stern next wed. See how it goes. And I still have to edit and send my new essay, okay actually 2. I must say, in optimism, that writing essay is really such a breeze compared to two years ago. Thank you uni apps for the 100 essays you made me write.//(wth I cant separate the paragraphs in the new blogger format zz)
After a few weeks-hiatus, I have finally found another job! Pretty decent if you would ask me. Bain is awesome enough, haha. Tiring but I learnt a lot!
Now, moving on to other issues, again. It is a love-hate thing going on; This period of uncertainty, that is. (lol my writing style has changed so much, influenced much)
It is funny, how different it feels before and after. Previously, I have never imagined getting into anything. I guess I don't have to elaborate here, so long as I understand five years later when I read this again. Really incredibly, retrospectively.
That aside, I have to quote this from the mad man in bishan: when life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate. When life is bitter, say thank you and learn.
